Hand Tracking Using ZCam
We have designed a hand tracking algorithm using time-of-flight based camera to interact in three-dimensional virtual environment.
Sophomore Seminar CS 84 (Fall 2007)

Teleimmersion on BBC
Our tele-immersion system was featured on TV BBC show "Visions of the Future" (2nd episode).
Remote Dancing in Tele-immersive Environment
Through our collaboration with University of Illinois, we have successfully performed several remote dance experiments with the teleimmersion system. Physically dislocated dancers are able to meet inside the virtual space and interact through virtual touch.
TaiChi Study in Tele-immersive Environment
Tai Chi study was performed with 40 subjects who performed inside the virtual environment with a digitized Tai Chi teacher.
Skeletonization of Point Cloud Data
We are able to extract kinematic data (skeleton) from point cloud data of a person captured by the tele-immersion system in real time.
